PROBLEM

The client and CEO of Stoic Beauty, Maria, requested a custom box design for the new holiday body butter collection. She wanted it to follow her current brand identity’s organic “magical alchemist” vibe, but slightly more vibrant and in tune with the “holiday spirit”.

SOLUTION

1. Designing a template from scratch based on Maria’s product (body butters) dimensions.
2. Creating illustrations that represent + encapsulate brand values (plants, geometric shapes, astronomy, etc.)
3. Refining and/or re-designing all provided digital + creative assets to fit the layout + new theme.

KEY INSIGHTS

1. Strict margins must be followed when designing layouts for packaging materials like boxes.
2. Some colours and line thickness variations are not visible when physically printed onto a kraft box. Final layouts had to be adjusted accordingly.
