MATERIAL TRANSLATIONS – EXPERIMENTAL TYPOGRAPHY

A personal project designed for the purpose of experimenting with digital & analog typography. The three words shown here were randomly selected from a song written about the difficulties of loving an addict. Each word is meant to represent the emotional pain endured by the artist. The designs all utilize elements of texture, contrast, and the merging of abstract concepts with material objects to convey a deeper meaning in relation to the lyrics.
